Gramercy Europe Limited, a real estate investment fund manager specializing in logistics and industrial assets, has acquired a 26,875 sqm logistics warehouse in Helmond, the Netherlands.
The acquisition represents the fourth by Gramercy for its latest European fund, Gramercy Property Europe III Ltd (“GPE III”).
The property is let to Dorel, a manufacturer of child car seats and pushchairs, who has been tenant since early 2001. It serves as its sole European distribution facility, whilst the office function (c. 4,000 sqm) is used as a regional sales- and R&D hub. Maximillian leases several other buildings in the immediate vicinity and recently secured an option to extend on an adjacent site.
Helmond is a vital Dutch logistics hub, less than 15km from Eindhoven. With no current warehouse vacancy, it benefits from its adjacency to the A67, the major arterial route running from Antwerp into the Ruhr region of Germany, as well as the nearby Eindhoven airport.
Gramercy was advised by TFL Real Estate.
