Aan de Stegge Twello has reached agreement with SEGRO on the sale of a turnkey logistics development at Schiphol Trade Park. The distribution centre has an area of 17,136 m² and is partly let.
The building is located on the so-called Skyzone of Schiphol Trade Park; a visible location from the A4. Schiphol Trade Park is the newest business park around the airport, with a strong focus on sustainability and circularity. With its 4-star BREEAM area certification, Schiphol Trade Park is one of the most sustainable business parks in Europe.
Approx. 9,306 m² of space will be leased to an international 3PL provider who will use this facility as their head office in the Netherlands. This unit is largely equipped for the storage and distribution of pharmaceutical products. In addition to the provisions for temperature regulation, the design also takes sustainability and security into account through a BREEAM Excellent and a TAPA-A certification. The remaining unit has an area of 7,830 m² and is available for renting. The construction of the distribution centre has recently started and will be delivered at the end of Q1 2020.
SEGRO has acquired the building for its SEGRO European Logistics Partnership (SELP); a 50:50 joint venture between SEGRO and Public Sector Pension Investment Board (PSPIB). SELP has a portfolio of approximately EUR 3.9 billion and contains logistics assets in France, Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
Aan de Stegge Twello was advised by TLF Real Estate (sale), INDUSTRIAL Real Estate Partners (leasing) and CMS (legal). SELP was commercially assisted by CBRE and legally by Quist Geuze Meijeren and Stibbe.
